यह संसार अनिश्चित है कब क्या होगा किसी को इसका आभास नहीं। यह तो सृष्टिकर्ता ही जानता है कि किस व्यक्ति से कब और क्या करवाना है। पर इस अनिश्चितता में भी एक बात तो निश्चित ही है कि जो आया है उसे जाना ही है। अर्थात जो जन्मा है उसे मृत्यु की प्राप्ति अवश्य ही होनी है। फिर इस दुर्लभ मानव योनि को पाकर भी यदि कुछ आध्यात्मिक लाभ नहीं किया तो सब व्यर्थ ही है। यह तो साधना करने की एक मात्र अवस्था है। इसको प्राप्त करके भी इसका सद उपयोग नहीं किया तो यह परम दुर्भाग्य की बात ही है।
वैसे आज की इस आपा-धापी में मनुष्य हर समय यही कहता हुआ सुना जाता है कि मरने की तो फुर्सत नहीं भजन कब और कैसे हो। भाई सांसारिक कार्य भी तो आप सम्पन्न करते ही है – फिर इसमें शिथिलता कैसे? इस कार्य में उत्साह क्यों नहीं? आप माने या न माने, इसे न करने से किसी का कुछ भी नहीं बिगड़ेगा आप ही अपना सर्वतोन्मुखी पतन कर लेंगे और फिर व्यर्थ ही काल, कर्म और ईश्वर को इसके लिए दोषी ठहराएंगे। अंधकार: “प्रकाश” को ले आओ, अन्धकार आप ही आप नष्ट हो जाएगा। “भक्ति सूत्र: बुरे से भी बुराई न करो, नहीं तो तुम में और उसमें अंतर क्या हुआ? यह बिल्कुल सत्य है जो करेगा वह भरेगा। “शक्ति” शक्ति के आगे सभी सर झुकाते है। किसी को सही बात समझाने के लिए भी सामर्थ्य की आवश्यकता है। भगवान बुद्ध कहते है, कि तुम्हारे दुःख के कारण स्वयं तुम हो, और दूसरे को दुःख देने से तुम कभी सुख न पा सकोगे। हम इस संसार में नहीं रहेंगे, सामान्यजन यह नहीं जानते और जो इसे जानते है उनके सारे कलह शांत हो जाते है। -Nitya Puja Paath Hawan Sandhya Book.
