In the beginning of the book, the arts of various deities are described, their trust should be done as extermination. At some time, goddess manifests in the form of Dus Mahavidyas; so, becoming even greater than exceedingly powerful Vidyas, as Mahavidyas, gets established in this Creation, and spreads knowledge; and at some times, becoming UpMahavidyas, She displays Her various natures. Out of them itself, there are 64 ‘krityas’. The 64 ‘krityas’ and the 64 ‘yoginis’ have their own ‘sansaar’, they have their own ‘duniyaan’; although, in today’s time, you and I do not know properly who these 64 ‘krityas’ are. Maybe there are only few out of you who know the names of the 64 yoginis; who know what was the necessity for them. And out of you, very few may be who know after all, what is hidden within the various subtle forms of Devi.- Upmahavidya Rahasya Pushtak.

For example, the ‘krityas’, are a form of Devi, [as] ‘Pratyangira’ also. So, after all, what is hidden within ‘Pratyangira’? So, Yogmaya appears in the form of Mahavidyas, She appears as small Vidyas too.
