What is Ashta Yogda Yantra?

Ashta Yogda Yantra (अष्ट योगदा यंत्र) is for proving all the eight forms of Yogda Devi. Yogda Devi is a form of Maa Durga, who is the owner of Ashtasiddhi. This is a very rare yantra, by worshipping, meditating and using it, the goddess becomes pleased and fulfills the desired task.

How to Install Ashta Yogda Yantra?

After taking bath etc. on any Friday, sit on a red woolen mat between 9 pm to 11 pm facing west or the direction in which your temple is facing. And install Ashta Yogda Yantra in the temple or in front of you on a red cloth. Then light an oil lamp in front of the yantra, meditate on the nine powers of Durga Maa on the yantra, put nine vermilion dots on the yantra and worship it. After this, chant the following mantra 540 times i.e. 5 Mala using Durga Mala or do it according to your sadhana.

किसी भी शुक्रवार को स्नान आदि करके रात्रि के समय 9 बजे से 11 बजे के बीच, लाल ऊनि आसन पर पश्चिम दिशा की तरफ मुख करके या फिर आपका मंदिर जिस दिशा की तरफ हो, उस दिशा की ओर मुह करके बैठ जाए। और मंदिर में या अपने सामने अष्ट योगदा यंत्र को लाल वस्त्र पर स्थापित करें। फिर यन्त्र के सामने तेल का दीपक जलाकर, यन्त्र पर दुर्गा माँ की नौं शक्तियों का ध्यान कर, यन्त्र पर नौं सिंदूर की बिंदियाँ लगायें पूजन करें। इसके बाद निम्नलिखित मन्त्र का 540 बार यानि 5 माला का जाप दुर्गा माला से करें या अपनी साधना के अनुसार करे।
