Shakun Apshakun 7/शकुन अपशकुन: Sun: Since ancient times, Sun was being worshipped hence anything defaming towards Sun will bring bad luck like showing fingers to Sun. There is a proverb that Sun gives light to only good people. The bride on which Sun shines; she will remain happy life long. And the person, to whom Sun hides himself after seeing him, is most unfortunate person and his trouble increases.

If found, it has to be picked or plucked very carefully and hold it around the neck with a thread. This will keep away the bad luck. This leaf helps in mutual love if the prevalent songs are sung.

Hang it on a glass net and wait for the ring to swing as pendulum. The number of strike on the net by the ring is actual age of the lady.

If a sick man is lying inside the room and suddenly the door is knocked three times, it is considered that the angel has come to take the soul of the sick person.
