Shaligram Benefit (शालिग्राम) : It is the replica of Lord Vishnu. It is to be kept in all the Pujas and Yajnas. In India it is only available in Gandaki river. It is the Lord Vishnu for Vaishnava. If a shaligram is placed in the house, the house become energized and sanctified. It also eradicates the sins made in the previous birth.
Shaligram Benefits:
- If shaligram (Shaligram Benefit) is washed with the water of river Ganges, it gives the benefit of Vishnu Havan.
- If different types of food is offered as pleasantries to it, it destroyes the disease.
- If basil, woodapple leave, sandalwood, conch and Gomti Chakra is kept with Shaligram, it fulfil all the desires.
- If Panchamrit is poured on the Shaligram daily, it will give the virtue of hearing Madbhagwat.
- If on the eleventh day of the fortnight 108 basil leaves are offered to Shaligram it gives the virtue of 1000 cows bounty. If lotus is offered to Shaligram daily, it fetches wealth.

शालिग्राम भगवान् विष्णु की साक्षात् प्रतिमा है। इसे बड़ी बड़ी पूजा एवं यज्ञादि में रखना आवश्यक होता है। शालिग्राम भारत देश की एक मात्र गंडकी नदी से प्राप्त होता है, जोकि वैष्णो धर्म के लोगो के लिए साक्षात् विष्णु है। इस शालिग्राम को घर में प्रतिस्थापित करने से घर में धर्म, कर्म और ऐश्वर्या की वृद्धि होती है। इसकी नित्य पूजा उपासना करने से पूर्व जन्म के पाप नष्ट हो जाते है।
शालिग्राम के लाभ:
- शालिग्राम को प्रतिदिन गंगा स्नान कराने से विष्णु हवन का फल मिलता है।
- शालिग्राम को प्रतिदिन विभिन्न प्रकार के भोजन खिलाने से रोग नष्ट होते है।
- शालिग्राम के साथ तुलसी, बेलपत्र, चन्दन, शंख, गोमती चक्र इन पांच वस्तु को साथ में रखने से हर प्रकार की कामना पूर्ण होती है।
- शालिग्राम को प्रतिदिन पंचाम्रत से स्नान कराने से श्रीमद्भागवत श्रवण का फल मिलता है।
- एकादशी के दिन शालिग्राम पर 108 तुलसी पत्र अर्पण करने से हज़ार गौ दान का फल मिलता है। शालिग्राम को प्रतिदिन कमल पुष्प अर्पण करने से प्रचूर लक्ष्मी प्राप्त होती है।
