Generally Arka plants, with purple colored flowers, are available everywhere and this kind of plant is utilized for medicinal purposes. It is believed that in the roots of Shwetark (White Calotropis Benefits) Lord Ganapati has its presence. And if it is brought in home by proper Tantric procedure and it is worshipped daily then it blesses the family and every individual residing in the house just like Lord Ganesha himself.

In spiritual field, while pursuing any specific Sidhhi or Sadhana, the consideration of aspects like place(sthan), time (Muhurat) and related items (vidhi vidhan) is very necessary especially for any sort related processes of Tantra, Mantra, Yantra, Pooja , Havan, Vrat, Upvaas & Yajna etc. Without considering these any Sadhana is incomplete and further it cannot lead to a Sidhhi, either is will abruptly get stopped or wouldn’t give full or desired results. If someone has given you or you have bought it from some place then it is better to keep it at any isolated sacred place till the auspicious time or Muhurat. From the day you have to start the puja whether it is Ravi Pushya or Guru Pushya Yog or any other auspicious Muhurat. The evening before that specific day you may go to that place alone where that plant is present, without telling anyone. Take a red thread, water, benzyl aggarbatti (or incense sticks), and vermillion with you.

After reaching to that place stand in front of Shwetark (White Calotropis Benefits) plant facing north east or north direction and join your hands and pray the plant resembling Lord Ganesha. After that put some water in the roots of that plant, then lighten up the benzyl and tie the red thread on any branch of the plant. And pray as if you are praying Lord Ganapati himself and request him to come with you to your home for bringing happiness, success, peace and prosperity also safeguarding your house from any sort of evil eye or black magic attack. यह श्वेत आर्क (White Calotropis Benefits) के पौधे को सफेद आकड़ा और मदार के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इसके पौधे सम्पूर्ण भारत वर्ष में पाये जाते हैं। ये पौधे 1 मीटर से लेकर लगभग 3 मीटर ऊँचाई तक के होते हैं। श्वेतार्क के कुछ पुराने पौधे कभी-कभी इससे भी अधिक ऊँचे होते हैं, इनमें दूध के समान सफेद लेटेक्स पाया जाता है, जो इनकी पत्तियों अथवा नर्म शाखाओं को तोड़ने पर दूध की भांति निकलता हुआ दिखाई देता है यह पौधा शुष्क भूमि में भली प्रकार से पनपता है।

श्वेत आर्क (White Calotropis Benefits) पौधे की जड़ को विधि-विधान, श्रद्धा एवं आस्था से प्राप्त कर इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है तो व्यक्ति को अनेक प्रकार के लाभ होते हैं। इसके लिये अपनी सुविधानुसार शुभ मुहूर्त अथवा जिस दिन रविवार को पुष्य नक्षत्र आये अर्थात् रविपुष्य योग में श्वेतार्क की जड़ का एक टुकड़ा प्राप्त कर लें। इसे गंगाजल अथवा शुद्ध जल से धोकर तथा अगरबत्ती का धुआं देकर चाँदी के ताबीज में बंद कर लें। इस ताबीज को गले अथवा कमर में बांधे रहने से व्यक्ति नजर, टोना-टोटके, भूत-प्रेत आदि से रक्षित रहता है। इस ताबीज को घर के मुख्य द्वार पर लटकाने से भी यही लाभ होता है।

जो लोग बुध ग्रह की पीड़ा से परेशान हों, जिन लोगों की वाक्शक्ति कम हो अर्थात् जो भाषणकला में निपुण न हों तथा चार लोगों के समक्ष बात करने में घबराते हों अथवा जिन्हें प्राय: त्वचा सम्बन्धी रोग घेरे रहते हैं, ऐसे व्यक्तियों को नित्य थोड़े से जल में हल्दी का चूर्ण मिलाकर श्वेतार्क की जड़ों में अर्पित करना चाहिये तथा कल्याण की कामना करनी चाहिये।

यह भी कहा जाता है, कि जहां आक का पौधा होता है। वहां पर सर्प भी निवास करता है तथा आक के पौधे के नीचे लक्ष्मी जी का भण्डार होता है।

प्राचीन समय में मन्त्र सिद्ध की गई प्रतिमा को साधक लोग अपनी झोली में रखते थे फिर उस झोली में से जितना धन निकाला जाता था उतना ही धन झोली में स्वत: आ जाता था, यह शक्ति आज भी इस प्रतिमा को प्राप्त है।

जब आप को कहीं 27 वर्ष का श्वेत आक मिले तो उसके बारे में पूरी जानकारी प्राप्त करें। फिर शुभ समय विचारकर आक की जगह आदि साफ़ करें ताकि आक की जड़ के बारे में पूरी जानकारी प्राप्त हो सके, तब फिर दूसरे दिन रात्रि को आक को न्योत आयें, तब प्रात: काल के समय आक के स्थान पर जाकर धैर्य तथा सावधानी से मिट्टी खोदनी चाहिए, जब पूरा पेड़ उखाड़े, तब आक के पेड़ की सभी जड़ों को एकत्र करके अपने घर में कहीं साफ़ स्थान पर रख दें

ताकि जड़ों की मिट्टी आदि दूर हो जाए फिर हफ्ते के बाद इस आक की सबसे नीचे की जड़ को देखें तो आपको गणपति जी की प्रतिमा प्राप्त होगी। इस तरह की प्रतिमा प्राप्त करके प्रतिमा को दूध से स्नान करा के घर में मन्त्र सिद्ध प्रतिमा स्थापित करें तथा नित्य इस प्रतिमा को धूप दीप करें, साथ ही गणपति जी का मूल मन्त्र का जाप करें।

श्वेत आक (White Calotropis Benefits) को खोदते समय सावधान रहें, कि आक के नीचे सर्प भी हो सकता है। आक खोदने के पहले सांप कील करके सांप को दूर करें। सर्प गणपति की प्रतिमा के आस पास होता है। मेरे अनुसार आक की जड़ के आस पास मिट्टी रेतीली नर्म होती है। इसलिए जड़ में सर्प निवास करता है।

सफेद आक के गणपति की प्रतिमा अत्यंत दुर्लभ मानी जाती है। इसके बारे में कहा जाता है कि जिसके घर में सफेद आक के गणपति की प्रतिमा स्थापित होती है। उस घर में लक्ष्मी जी का निवास होता है। तथा जहां यह प्रतिमा होगी उस स्थान में कोई भी शत्रु हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकता। इस प्रतिमा के सामने बैठकर गणपति जी का मूल मन्त्र जपने से श्री गणपति जी के दर्शन होते है। यह श्वेत आक का पौधा गणपति जी का स्वरुप माना जाता है। जिस व्यक्ति के घर में यह श्वेत आक का पौधा होगा वहां पर कोई शत्रु हानि नही पहुँचा पाता।
